House Passes Full Repeal of ACA’s Cadillac Tax
AEP is the busiest time of the year, but it’s important to continue to increase the awareness around select Stars measures and compliance. Many of these measures relate back to each member’s benefit or their experience with their health plan, which ultimately impacts Stars ratings and retention. The attached talking points includes guidance for agents in support of their conversations with members during November.
One measure that particularly needs attention is the flu vaccine. Humana’s vaccine rate currently has one of the lowest CMS Stars ratings. For every member with whom you come in contact, remind them that it’s flu season and important to get vaccinated. Attached are 2 flu shot flyers (Flu Shot Flyer with Voucher / Flu Shot Flyer without Voucher) to aid your discussions along with the talking points, November Agent Talking Points. Getting just 10% more of our Medicare members vaccinated this season could have a huge impact on our 2016-2017 CMS Stars ratings. I encourage all market sales managers to highlight this during their next team meeting(s). Thank you for your dedicated efforts.
